'Salmon Confidential' screens in Gibsons
Sustainable Coast magzine will host a special showing of Salmon Confidential on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:30 pm at the Gibsons Heritage Playhouse, with the filmmaker, Twyla Roscovitch as special guest.

Admission is by donation. Screening time is 7:30pm, doors open at 7pm. The Gibsons Heritage Playhouse is located at 662 North Road in Gibsons, BC.
Powell River’s Best Baker Contest
The Powell River Money Society is pleased to present a fundraising event to support the Powell River Dollar program. Powell River's finest home and professional bakers will compete for the title of Powell River's Best Baker at the Cranberry Seniors Centre Hall, 6792 Cranberry St on Sunday March 24th, starting at 2pm. Admission to the event is $10: visitors will receive PR$10 in small bills in return, which they can use to vote for their favorite bakers. MORE INFO
