For the Love of Wild Salmon

Written by Salmon are Sacred
For the love of Wild Salmon postcard For the love of Wild Salmon postcard Anissa Reed for salmonaresacred.org

Alexandra Morton and salmonaresacred.org are asking supporters to send a valentine to King Harald of Norway on Valentine's Day. View the new video "Everyone loves wild salmon don't they?" by Alexandra Morton.

For the Love of Wild Salmon, we need to get salmon feedlots out of our waters. Our salmon are the lifeblood of the province, and this foreign industry with foreign benefactors isn't showing BC any love by continuing to use our pristine  waters for open net feedlots.

Download the Valentines here <http://salmonaresacred.org/downloads> , write your message, and mail or send as an email to King Harald of Norway ( 92% of the feedlots in BC are owned by Norwegian corporations) : email address:( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Vancouver event

All are encouraged to join us in Vancouver and/or Victoria on February 14th where wild salmon people will be spreading this message at major transit hubs with Salmon Valentine stickers, fliers and petitions. Skytrain stations will substitute salmon farms - when wild fish pass through salmon farms, they pick up sea lice and pathogens. When commuters pass through major skytrain stations on February 14th, they will pick up salmon valentine stickers. Please email us for details regarding Vancouver or contact Tria Donaldson in Victoria

For anyone inspired to organize a smiliar event in their own town, that's great! please email us so we can send you some salmon heart stickers.
